How to Wax Wooden Furniture
Hello, today Libéron is going to show you how to apply a beautiful wax finish to a pine wooden seat.
Wax finishes are perfect for living areas of the home because they have a lovely aroma and nourish the wood at the same time, but do not use them in the kitchen or bathroom as wax and water do not mix.
Always clean the wood first with Wax & Polish Remover as shown in the wood preparation video. Libéron wax polish Black Bison contains a blend of natural waxes which is safe for toys and suitable for hardwoods and softwoods. It is available in 16 different colours. Today we are going to use the neutral paste.
Using an Ultra Fine Steel Wool (Grade 0000), apply a thin coat of wax on the surface in the direction of the wood grain. Allow the wax to dry for about 20 minutes and then buff to a sheen with a cotton cloth or a Libéron wax polishing brush. If the wood is new or very dry you may need to apply another coat.
Then sit back relax and enjoy your furniture.
